Mary Fallon and Jennifer Renshaw from the Exceptional Children's Program recently received a grant to purchase Accessibility Suite – Reading Made Easy.

The $66,000 software grant includes 10 programs for every computer including scan to read, text to audio, talking dictionary and calculator, word prediction, talking checkbook, magnifier applications, internet reader and translator, PDF builder, and PDF magic. The software is available for 2800 computers countywide for one year. 

Ms. Fallon is an Exceptional Childrens' teacher at South Topsail Elementary School.  Ms. Renshaw is a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant at South Topsail Elementary School.  They were recognized during the September 14th meeting of the Pender County Board of Education.
